i have probably gotten like twenty grey hairs from this gamemode 🫶 this is the strategy that worked most intuitively for me and also merges strategies from other players! YMMV as usual and a lot of this comes down to rng + thinking before moving / thinking ahead

My final board when I got to Lv 12**.**

As you can see, the right and bottom corners were used for collecting unwanted structures.

Pictured here, how I lined up all my buildings along the top side.

I used less than 10 undos and blueprints combined and about 10-20 hammers. With better luck and patience and smarter plays, you can probably get by with less :D

Stage 0: Preparation

  1. If you have not yet finished buying all the power ups from the Shop, spam play the game until you farm what you think is an appropriate amount of Seals of Approval. I do not recommend going beyond Lv 6 (100 Seals) and 7 (125) at the most for casual farming.
    1. For reference, after following my strategy and using too much brainpower, it took me 2 Gnome Blueprints to reach Level 9 with levels 8, 7, 4 lined up behind before I took an L. However, I farmed 2-3k Seals of Approval before my big Level 12 run. Used about 1-1.5k probably (estimated, because I actually bought out all the hammers and was left with ~1.5k when I hit Level 12)
  2. Alternatively, or if you’ve cleared out the shop, finish enough Secret Garden Missions to amass what you think is an appropriate number of power ups. If you’ve not cleared out the shop, still keep a couple hundred Seals of Approval on you just in case.
  3. As a last resort, if you’ve finished all the missions and purchased all the power ups, spam play the game to 300k or 500k benchmarks for power ups (will take a good amount of time and effort though. Consider: do you really need those 1k lights of truth and 1k diamonds?)

Stage 1: Re: Zero — Starting Life in a New Board

  1. Populate it fully with items. It doesn’t matter where anything goes right now!
  2. Assess the board and pick a corner for Level 12 to end up at. The opposite corner will become your trash collecting area.
  3. Pick a side of the board to line up the buildings for merging. The opposite side will also become an acceptable (but less favourable) trash collecting area.
